About The CEO
Edgar Maphopha has been working in the Financial Services Industry for 37 years. Having worked for Glenrand MIB and independently, his experience in insurance and risk management services is profound. From Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Corporate Accounts.
He has experience and knowledge of managing insurance portfolios for Municipalities, State-Owned Enterprises (SOE’s) and Motor-Fleets on both Conventional and Alternative Risk Transfers (ART) basis.
Edgar has a CIS Qualification with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, now known as the Chartered Governance Institute, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
